Burial Warfare Overview
Stay bold and fearless, because a nighttime stroll through the cemetery awaits, and you’ll face more than just the massive, mesmerizing moon. This is the Night of the Living Dead, after all, and it’s going to be a very long night—and incredibly breathtaking.
Burial Warfare is a 6-reel, 4-row slot game featuring: two teams for you to choose, Wild, Explosive, and Scatter symbols, a Stash Opening minigame, a Loss Bonus, and Free Spins. Before the demo starts, you pick your side: Humans or Zombies. Teams can be switched at any time, and symbols matching your chosen team earn higher wins. There are also team-specific symbols. These appear for both teams but have a distinct team color, and their wins are multiplied by 3. Human and zombie hands with thumbs up serve as Scatter symbols—depending on your team, three or more Scatters on the reels win a round for one side or the other. If your team wins the round, you receive a Loss Bonus and a chance to open a Crate (Coffin) with an extra reward inside.
The crate holds all symbols on the screen that have reward value, plus the Jackpot symbol (a bonus symbol where the reward equals the sum of all rewards multiplied by 10). By opening the crate, you win one of these bonus rewards, with its special value listed in the rules as "stash."
Three enemy Scatter symbols mean you lose the round. But don’t worry—each losing round increases the Loss Bonus, which is paid out after a round win or a draw (when three Scatter symbols from both teams appear on screen). The Loss Bonus starts at zero at the beginning of the game and increases by bet/2 each time the opposing team wins. After the Loss Bonus is paid, it resets to zero.
Three consecutive round wins award you a massive 30 Free Spins! During Free Spins, Scatter elements don’t appear on the reels, boosting your free play win rate.
To win this confrontation, you have a wide arsenal of high-impact tools. For example, dynamite, which explodes and destroys all non-allied symbols nearby; the team-neutral Bottle Rocket, which switches enemy symbols to Wild; or the Molotov/Acid Flask, which replaces adjacent horizontal and vertical symbols with Wilds.
